Amazon EC2 C8gn Instances Now Available in Europe (Paris) Region
AWS has expanded the availability of Amazon EC2 C8gn instances to the Europe (Paris) region, powered by the latest-generation Graviton4 processors. These instances deliver up to 30% better compute performance than C7gn instances and offer up to 600 Gbps network bandwidth, the highest among network-optimized EC2 instances. They are designed for network-intensive workloads, data analytics, and CPU-based AI/ML inference. Key features include up to 384 GiB of memory, 120 Gbps EBS bandwidth, and Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) support on larger instance sizes for improved cluster performance.

Amazon EC2 C8gn instances, powered by AWS Graviton4 processors, are now available in the AWS Europe (Paris) region. They offer up to 30% better compute performance than Graviton3-based C7gn instances and feature up to 600 Gbps network bandwidth for demanding workloads. These instances are ideal for network virtual appliances, data analytics, and CPU-based AI/ML inference, scaling up to 48xlarge with 384 GiB memory and 120 Gbps EBS bandwidth.
