They deliver 448 vCPUs and support 100 Gbps Amazon EBS and network bandwidth with ENA Express. This expansion benefits customers running demanding in-memory databases like SAP HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server, enabling scalable transaction processing.

Amazon EC2 High Memory U7i-6TB instances (u7i-6tb.112xlarge), part of the 7th generation and powered by custom fourth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, are now available in the AWS Europe (Zurich) region. These instances offer 6 TiB of DDR5 memory, 448 vCPUs, up to 100 Gbps Amazon EBS bandwidth, and 100 Gbps network bandwidth with ENA Express, delivering up to 45% better price performance than existing U-1 instances. They are optimized for mission-critical in-memory databases like SAP HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server.
