Amazon EC2 M8i instances now available in more AWS regions
Amazon EC2 M8in, M8idn, M8ib, and M8idb instances are now available in additional AWS regions including US East (Ohio), Europe (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo). These instances, powered by Intel Xeon Scalable processors and AWS Nitro cards, offer significant improvements in network and storage bandwidth, benefiting demanding workloads like big data analytics, caching, and high-performance databases. They are available across multiple regions and purchasing options, including On-Demand, Spot instances, and Savings Plans.

Amazon EC2 M8in and M8idn instances, featuring custom Intel Xeon Scalable processors and AWS Nitro cards, now offer 600 Gbps network bandwidth. These network-optimized instances are well-suited for real-time big data analytics, distributed caches, AI/ML cluster caching, and Telco applications.

Amazon EC2 M8ib and M8idb instances are now available with up to 300 Gbps EBS bandwidth. These EBS-optimized instances are ideal for workloads requiring high block storage performance, such as high-performance file systems, NoSQL databases, data lakes, and large commercial databases.

The Amazon EC2 M8in, M8idn, M8ib, and M8idb instances are now available in multiple AWS regions including US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), US West (Oregon), Europe (Ireland, Spain), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo). These instances can be purchased via Savings Plans, On-Demand, and Spot instances.
