- →Availability and access
Features (1) ›
- Real-time deployment timeline and status
Amazon ECS now provides a live deployment timeline showing phases, service events, and task progress with automatic refresh. Users can monitor deployment health in real time using circuit breaker status, task failure proximity, and health checks at container and load-balancer levels.
Enhancements (1) ›
- Faster diagnosis of deployment failures
The new observability features allow users to view failed tasks directly in the deployment timeline with diagnostic context and deep links to services like AWS CloudTrail. This reduces the need to switch between multiple tools to identify failure root causes.
Notes (1) ›
- Availability and access
This new deployment observability is available at no additional charge in all AWS commercial Regions and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions. It applies to all Amazon ECS services using the rolling update deployment type.
