Amazon OpenSearch Service Introduces New Cluster Insights for Faster Diagnosis
Amazon OpenSearch Service has expanded its Cluster Insights with 17 new detections designed to identify the root causes of Red and Yellow cluster statuses. These insights automatically diagnose issues like JVM out-of-memory errors, CPU saturation, zone imbalance, and misconfigured replica counts. Users now receive actionable recommendations, such as scaling instance types or correcting shard allocations, to restore cluster stability more quickly. This functionality is available at no extra cost for domains running OpenSearch 1.0+ or Elasticsearch 6.8+ across 11 global regions.
