Amazon QuickSight adds AI-powered analysis and sheet generation
Amazon QuickSight introduces two new AI-powered capabilities to accelerate dashboard creation: Generate Sheet and image-based analysis. Generate Sheet allows users to describe desired sheets in natural language, automatically creating visuals and calculated fields within existing analyses. The image-based analysis feature enables users to upload a dashboard image for QuickSight to recreate as an editable analysis. These features are available to Enterprise subscription and Author Pro users, with promotional access for Authors through December 2026.

Users can describe a desired sheet in natural language, and Amazon QuickSight will automatically add it to an existing analysis, complete with data visuals, filter controls, and calculated fields.

Users can attach an image of a dashboard, including those from other BI tools, to a prompt, and Amazon QuickSight will recreate it as an editable analysis based on supported elements.
