Amazon ECS now provides real-time deployment observability in the AWS Management Console
Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) now introduces real-time deployment observability directly within the AWS Management Console for native Linear, Canary, and Blue/Green strategies. This enhancement centralizes monitoring and troubleshooting, allowing users to track deployment progress, health, and diagnose failures without needing to switch between different tools. The console provides a live deployment timeline, showing phases, events, task progress, traffic shift distribution, and integrates health signals like circuit breaker status and alarms. This new capability is available at no extra charge across all AWS commercial and GovCloud (US) Regions for relevant ECS services.
