SageMaker Unified Studio expands domain management for Identity Center domains
Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio now offers domain management for Identity Center-based domains outside the AWS console, enabling administrators to manage projects, workforce identity, and networking. This expands capabilities previously limited to IAM-based domains, improving unified administration. These features are available in all regions where SageMaker Unified Studio is supported.

- Unified domain management for Identity Center domains
SageMaker Unified Studio now provides domain management for Identity Center-based domains, allowing administrators to manage projects, configure workforce identity, and set networking properties directly within the SageMaker Unified Studio portal.
- Manage associated accounts for cross-account data sharing
Administrators can manage associated AWS accounts, enabling users to publish and consume data from other AWS accounts within SageMaker Unified Studio.

- Centralized project creation and role configuration
Administrators of Identity Center-based domains can create projects with configurable execution roles, specifying which AWS analytics, AI, and ML services the project can access.
- Consistent VPC configuration across domain types
VPC configuration, including VPC, subnets, and security groups, is now consistently inherited by all projects and can be edited for both IAM and Identity Center-based domains.
