Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB 3 now supports custom Python plugins
Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB 3 now allows users to deploy and run custom Python plugins directly within its managed Core and Enterprise editions. This new capability enables engineers to implement workload-specific logic like data transformations, alerting, and integrations without external infrastructure. Plugins are hosted in user-controlled public or private repositories, fetched by the database engine, and execute in a managed Python environment. This feature is available in all AWS Regions where Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB is offered, simplifying custom processing near the data.
