Anthropic Models to Be Removed from Databricks AWS GovCloud IL5 Workspaces
Databricks will remove Anthropic models from its AWS GovCloud and AWS GovCloud DoD workspaces configured for DoD Impact Level 5 (IL5) compliance. This change will take effect on September 19, 2026. After this date, IL5 workspaces will no longer support creating or using endpoints that serve Anthropic models. Customers with affected endpoints must migrate them to other supported models before the removal date.

Effective September 19, 2026, Databricks will no longer support Anthropic models in AWS GovCloud and AWS GovCloud DoD workspaces configured for DoD Impact Level 5 (IL5) compliance. After this date, creating or using endpoints serving these models in IL5 workspaces will be blocked. Customers are advised to migrate affected endpoints to alternative supported models before the deadline.
