Salesforce Connector mTLS Authentication Now Generally Available in Databricks Lakeflow Connect
Databricks has made Mutual TLS (mTLS) authentication generally available for its Salesforce connector within Lakeflow Connect. This enhancement establishes two-way trust by enabling Databricks and Salesforce to exchange and verify client certificates, complementing the OAuth client credentials flow. It is ideal for organizations with API-only users or those requiring mTLS for enhanced security. This provides a robust authentication mechanism for sensitive data integrations.
