AWS Agent Registry for centralized AI agent discovery is now generally available
AWS Agent Registry is now generally available, offering a private, governed catalog and discovery layer for AI agents, tools, and custom resources. It aims to improve organizational visibility into AI capabilities, reducing redundant development by facilitating the discovery of existing assets. The service introduces enterprise features such as Infrastructure as Code support via CloudFormation, Terraform, and CDK, along with cross-account sharing using AWS RAM. It also provides automated agent detection and integrates with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Amazon Quick, and Kiro IDE.
