AWS Adds Fourth Availability Zone to Europe (London) Region

AWS has launched a fourth Availability Zone (eu-west-2d) in its Europe (London) Region (eu-west-2), significantly expanding infrastructure capacity to meet growing cloud demand. This new zone integrates next-generation AI and ML capabilities, including Amazon EC2 Trn3 and P6 accelerated instances. It enhances fault isolation and allows customers to build more resilient, highly available architectures, supporting intensive AI/ML workloads entirely within the London Region. The new Availability Zone is immediately accessible via existing AWS tooling and applies standard regional pricing.
