AWS Artifact now offers 2026 Phase 1a IRAP report

AWS has made its latest Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) report, Phase 1a, available on AWS Artifact for Australian customers. This updated report includes four new services assessed at the PROTECTED level, bringing the total to 167. An IRAP documentation pack, aligned with Australian government security frameworks, is also provided to assist customers in assessing risk for their AWS workloads.

    The new IRAP report includes four additional AWS services assessed at the PROTECTED level: Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Parallel Computing Service, AWS Resilience Hub, and AWS Security Incident Response. This brings the total number of services assessed at the PROTECTED level to 167.

    The latest Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) report (Phase 1a – full assessment) is now available on AWS Artifact. An independent IRAP assessor completed the assessment of AWS in June 2026.

  • IRAP documentation pack for Australian customers

    AWS has developed an IRAP documentation pack to help Australian customers and partners plan, architect, and assess risk for their workloads. This pack aligns with the Australian Cyber Security Centre's (ACSC) Cloud Security Guidance and Authorisation framework, including the Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and Secure Cloud Strategy.

  • Updated documentation available

    The IRAP pack on AWS Artifact also includes updated versions of the AWS Consumer Guide and the whitepaper Reference Architectures for ISM PROTECTED Workloads in the AWS Cloud.
