AWS Backup Adds Cross-Region/Account Support for FSx for NetApp ONTAP
AWS Backup now supports copying Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP backups across AWS Regions and accounts. This capability enhances disaster recovery and business continuity goals, while also protecting backups from accidental deletion, operational errors, or account compromise. Copies can be managed centrally and automated across an organization using AWS Organizations. This functionality is available in all commercial AWS Regions where both services are offered.

- Cross-Region and Cross-Account Backups for Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP
AWS Backup now enables copying Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP backups to other AWS Regions or accounts. This supports cross-Region disaster recovery, business continuity goals, and safeguards against accidental deletion, operational error, or account compromise, with central management and automation via AWS Organizations.
