AWS Backup restore testing expanded to six new regions
AWS Backup restore testing is now available in six additional AWS Regions across Asia Pacific, Mexico, and Canada. This feature helps users automate and validate their disaster recovery readiness by testing restores against defined objectives. The expansion allows more customers to meet compliance requirements for business continuity. Users can access this functionality via the AWS Backup console, CLI, or SDKs.

- AWS Backup restore testing now available in six new AWS Regions
AWS Backup restore testing has been extended to include the Asia Pacific (Taipei), Asia Pacific (Malaysia), Asia Pacific (New Zealand), Asia Pacific (Thailand), Mexico (Central), and Canada West (Calgary) regions. This feature enables automated, periodic restore tests for AWS resources to evaluate recovery readiness and compliance with RTOs.
