AWS has launched a public preview of AWS Interconnect - Multicloud, enabling seamless private network connectivity with Microsoft Azure. This service addresses the complexities of do-it-yourself multicloud networking by offering a single, managed experience for customers operating across both AWS and Azure environments. Leveraging an open specification first introduced at re:Invent 2025, it provides resilient and scalable private connections. The preview is available in several AWS regions, including US East (N. Virginia) and Europe (Frankfurt), and can be managed via console, CLI, or API.
