AWS IoT Core Adds Native InfluxDB Routing for Time-Series Data
AWS IoT Core now offers a native InfluxDB rule action, simplifying the routing of time-series data from IoT devices directly to InfluxDB databases. This new capability eliminates the need for custom device-side code or intermediate cloud services by automatically converting data to InfluxDB's line protocol. It supports both Amazon Timestream managed and self-hosted InfluxDB clusters, along with device-side and server-side batching modes for optimized cost and throughput. The feature is available in all AWS Global Regions where Amazon Timestream for InfluxDB is present.

AWS IoT Core now includes a direct InfluxDB rule action for routing time-series data from IoT devices.
