Features (2) ›
- Support for VisionHeight Zero-Day Threat Protection rule group
AWS Network Firewall now supports VisionHeight's Zero-Day Threat Protection managed rule group, which proactively blocks malicious IP infrastructure before it is publicly listed. This feature helps organizations anticipate emerging threats and defend against targeted attacks.
- Support for VisionHeight Noisy Scanners and Tor Protection rule group
The Noisy Scanners and Tor Protection rule group is now available for AWS Network Firewall. This feature reduces firewall log noise by blocking communications with Tor exit nodes and filtering traffic from high-volume scanning sources, helping to lower SOC alert volume and SIEM ingestion costs.
Enhancements (1) ›
- Expanded managed rules offering through AWS Marketplace
These new rule groups are part of an expanded offering of managed rules for AWS Network Firewall available through AWS Marketplace from various sellers. The managed rules leverage VisionHeight's Pulse telemetry for threat intelligence.
Notes (1) ›
- Daily refresh cycles for threat intelligence
The managed rule groups, specifically the Noisy Scanners and Tor Protection, feature daily refresh cycles for their threat intelligence. This ensures timely updates for suppressing noise and blocking malicious traffic.
