AWS Outposts adds AMD-based bmn-cx3a instances with accelerated networking
AWS Outposts now supports bmn-cx3a instances, featuring 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors and NVIDIA ConnectX-7 for up to 800 Gbps network bandwidth. This enables high-throughput workloads like real-time data processing and media distribution for customers with second-generation Outposts racks. The instances are available globally where Outposts racks are supported.

AWS Outposts racks now support bmn-cx3a instances, powered by 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors and NVIDIA ConnectX-7 NICs. These instances offer up to 800 Gbps of bare-metal accelerated network bandwidth, ideal for demanding workloads.

The bmn-cx3a instances come in two sizes, bmn-cx3a.metal-32xl and bmn-cx3a.metal-64xl, featuring up to 256 cores, 1.5 TB of memory, and 2x 8 TB NVMe SSD storage. They include native L2 multicast and hardware PTP support.
