AWS Private CA EKS Add-on and AD Connector Available in GovCloud (US)
AWS Private Certificate Authority (AWS Private CA) has made its Connector for Kubernetes EKS add-on and Connector for Active Directory available in AWS GovCloud (US-East) and US-West Regions. These launches enhance certificate automation for government workloads, offering simplified installation and lifecycle management for Kubernetes TLS through EKS. The Active Directory connector enables automatic certificate issuance for domain-joined objects via familiar Microsoft interfaces, supporting enterprise scenarios like smart card authentication and LDAPS. Both solutions secure private key material using FIPS 140-3 Level 3 hardware security modules.
