AWS Security Hub Extended adds supply chain security category
AWS Security Hub Extended now offers Supply Chain Security as its 10th category, integrating Chainguard and Socket to detect and block malicious open-source dependencies before they impact applications. This feature aims to provide developers and security teams with confidence in the integrity of software supply chains. The new category is available today in all commercial AWS regions, with findings aggregated in AWS Security Hub.

- Streamlined integration and pricing for partner solutions
The Security Hub Extended plan consolidates 23 curated partner solutions, including the new supply chain security offerings, onto a single AWS bill with no long-term commitments. Findings from all participating solutions are standardized using the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF) and aggregated within AWS Security Hub.
