AWS Systems Manager supports Azure VMs and simplifies hybrid pricing
AWS Systems Manager now allows management of Azure Virtual Machines without manual agent installation or per-instance fees through a new Cloud Connector. This integration unifies management for both AWS and Azure resources, enabling consistent use of Systems Manager features like Session Manager and Run Command. The Advanced Instances Tier has been eliminated, shifting to pay-as-you-go pricing for non-EC2 nodes starting September 30, 2026, reducing cost barriers for multicloud operations.
