AWS Transform adds continuous modernization for tech debt
AWS Transform now offers a continuous modernization capability to autonomously detect, prioritize, and remediate tech debt in enterprise software portfolios. This feature simplifies tech debt management, allowing for automatic remediation with human oversight and enabling readiness assessments for AI agents. The capability is available in preview in specific AWS regions and integrates with AWS Security Agent for vulnerability remediation.

- Autonomous tech debt detection, prioritization, and remediation
AWS Transform introduces a new capability to continuously detect, prioritize, and remediate technical debt in enterprise software portfolios. This feature allows for autonomous updates and readiness assessments for AI agents.
- Multiple access points and source code integration
Customers can access the new capability via the AWS Transform web console, CLI, Kiro power, or coding agents. It supports integration with source code from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and other providers.

- Simplified tech debt management and visibility
This enhancement enables customers to move from manual maintenance to keeping codebases up-to-date, providing full visibility across thousands of repositories. Issues can be better prioritized, and remediation scheduled automatically with human oversight.
- Integration with AWS Security Agent for vulnerability remediation
The continuous modernization capability integrates with AWS Security Agent to detect and remediate security vulnerabilities directly at the source code level.
