AWS WAF adds Miggo Security managed rule groups for threat protection
AWS WAF now integrates two new partner managed rule groups from Miggo Security via AWS Marketplace, offering protection against emerging application threats and generative AI stacks. These rule groups provide continuously updated defenses against actively exploited vulnerabilities and AI-specific threats without custom rule management. Customers can subscribe directly in the AWS WAF console, simplifying the addition of these protections to their web ACLs.

AWS WAF now supports Miggo Security's 'High Emerging Application Threats' and 'AI/ML Application Protection' managed rule groups, available on AWS Marketplace. These groups offer updated protection against actively exploited vulnerabilities and generative AI application stacks without requiring custom rule creation.

- Simplified subscription and integration
Customers can subscribe to the Miggo rule groups and add them to their web ACLs directly through the AWS WAF console via AWS Marketplace. No additional configuration is needed post-subscription.
- AI/ML Application Protection details
The AI/ML Application Protection rule group specifically targets vulnerabilities in generative AI application stacks, including AI agent frameworks, LLM gateways, and model-serving infrastructure.
