Azure App Service to end support for Node.js 22 LTS by April 2027
Azure App Service will officially end support for Node.js 22 LTS on April 30, 2027. While applications running this version will continue to function, they will no longer receive security updates or customer service. This poses a significant risk of security vulnerabilities for affected applications. Users are strongly advised to upgrade their App Service apps to Node.js 24 LTS before the deadline to ensure continued security and support.

On April 30, 2027, Azure App Service will cease providing security updates and customer service for Node.js 22 LTS. Applications hosted on App Service using this version will continue to run but will face potential security vulnerabilities due to the lack of ongoing support.
