eBPF Host Routing for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Advanced Container Networking is now generally available, enhancing networking performance. This feature offloads packet forwarding and routing decisions directly to the Linux kernel via eBPF, reducing iptables overhead. It delivers lower latency, higher throughput, and improved scalability for large-scale, latency-sensitive AKS workloads. The rollout process for existing clusters uses controlled node rotation to minimize disruption and maintain connection continuity.
