Azure Functions support for .NET 8 and .NET 9 will conclude on November 10, 2026. After this date, applications running these versions will no longer receive security updates, potentially leading to security and performance vulnerabilities. Users must upgrade their Function Apps to .NET 10 to maintain support, with specific migration steps depending on whether they use the in-process or isolated worker model. Linux Consumption plan users must first upgrade to the Flex Consumption plan before updating to .NET 10.

  • Linux Consumption Plan Pre-requisite

    Apps deployed on a Linux Consumption plan require an initial upgrade to the Flex Consumption plan before they can be updated to .NET 10.
