feature

Route-maps are now available in public preview for Azure Route Server, enabling fine-grained control over inbound and outbound routing across hybrid connections. This capability allows customers to manage routes exchanged with Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs), ExpressRoute, and VPN gateways in the same virtual network. It provides features like route summarization, control over route propagation, path selection by modifying BGP AS-PATH, and route tagging using BGP Community attributes. This enhancement primarily affects engineers and architects managing complex hybrid network environments on Azure.
