Azure SQL Database Provisioning in MSSQL Extension Now Generally Available
Azure SQL Database provisioning, a feature allowing direct creation and connection to a fully managed cloud database from the editor, is now generally available within the MSSQL extension. This capability enables developers to streamline database setup and management without leaving their development environment. It includes ready-to-use Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Bicep, and Terraform templates, facilitating repeatable deployments and faster initial configuration for users.

The capability to provision and connect to Azure SQL Database directly from the MSSQL extension is now generally available. This feature allows users to create a fully managed cloud database at no cost from within their editor. It also provides pre-built ARM, Bicep, and Terraform templates for repeatable deployments and additional setup options.
