Bigtable now supports the list_hot_tablets MCP tool, allowing AI agents to programmatically query cluster health and identify resource-intensive hot tablets. This enhancement helps detect overutilized node CPUs, improving performance monitoring and management. The feature is now generally available for all Bigtable users.
