Google Cloud's Compute Engine has made generally available Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) images pre-configured with Logical Volume Manager (LVM) partitioning. These LVM-enabled images enable flexible volume management and dynamic partition sizing on boot disks. Additionally, RHEL Extended Update Support (EUS) images are now available, allowing VMs to lock into specific minor versions while receiving critical security updates and bug fixes for up to two years. Both image types are accessible via the Google Cloud console, providing enhanced management and update options for RHEL users.
