The model is compatible with zero data retention (ZDR) by default, addressing strict data governance requirements and ensuring data residency within AWS infrastructure. It enhances the understanding and navigation of codebases, enables more dependable and resilient AI agents, and improves reasoning for long documents and complex analysis. Claude Opus 5 is accessible via the bedrock-runtime endpoint in both AWS GovCloud (US) regions, and via bedrock-mantle in AWS GovCloud (US-West).
