Features (3)
  • Claude Tag beta integrates AI assistant into Slack channels

Claude Tag allows teams to grant Claude access to selected Slack channels and connect it to tools, data, and codebases. It enables multiplayer interaction where any channel member can tag Claude to delegate tasks.

  • AI builds context and plans future tasks

Claude Tag builds context by remembering relevant channel information and can plan out tasks for future completion. This enables more sophisticated and proactive AI assistance within team workflows.

  • Enhanced security and governance for AI agents

Claude Tag operates under its own identity, scoped per channel, with default settings for ambient mode off, spend controls, and governance features. This provides security and governance teams with more granular control over AI agent usage.

Maintenance (1)
  • Admin provisions agent identity and scopes per channel

An administrator provisions the agent identity in the Claude admin console, a process taking about an hour, and scopes it per channel. This setup is required for teams to start using Claude Tag.
