Cloud Load Balancing adds advanced policy support for regional LBs
Cloud Load Balancing now supports serviceLbPolicy for regional external and internal Application Load Balancers, enabling advanced features like custom algorithms and auto-capacity draining. This enhancement offers greater control and optimization for traffic management. The feature is currently in Preview and applies to regional Application Load Balancers.

- Cloud Load Balancing
Service load balancing policies ( serviceLbPolicy ) are now supported for regional external Application Load Balancers and regional internal Application Load Balancers. This feature enables advanced load balancing optimizations such as custom load balancing algorithms, auto-capacity draining, failover thresholds, and the ability to designate preferred backends for these load balancers. For more information, see Advanced load balancing optimizations . This feature is in Preview .
