Cloud Monitoring now allows users to opt out of SMS alert notifications directly from their devices. This enhancement enables recipients to stop alerts from a specific SMS channel by sending a text message to its associated phone number. The feature provides greater control over alert delivery, helping engineers and on-call staff manage notification volume and reduce fatigue.
