The Telemetry API for metric ingestion in Cloud Monitoring is now generally available. This allows engineers to ingest OpenTelemetry Protocol (OTLP) metrics into Cloud Monitoring using an OpenTelemetry Collector and OTLP exporter. This integration is now production-ready and available for immediate use.
