Cluster Toolkit v1.99.0 Enhances Slurm with Prometheus Telemetry and GKE TPU Examples
Cluster Toolkit v1.99.0 is now available, introducing built-in Prometheus OpenMetrics telemetry for Slurm 25.11+ and promoting existing telemetry to production. This release enhances Slurm's resilience to capacity constraints and quota errors, improving the stability of HPC workloads. Additionally, Multi-Tier Checkpointing (MTC) is now enabled at the job submission stage, and new GKE TPU v4 and v5p examples are included. These updates benefit users managing Slurm clusters on Google Cloud, particularly those focused on monitoring, job reliability, and AI/ML infrastructure.
