Databricks AI Search now shows supporting chunks for generated answers
Databricks has introduced a new `generate_citations` option within its `ai_search` function, allowing users to see the specific retrieved chunks that support each generated answer. This enhancement provides greater transparency and helps users verify the factual basis of the AI-generated responses. The capability is particularly useful for developers and data scientists building AI applications on the Databricks platform, and is currently available in Beta.
