Data Classification to Soon Scan Unity Catalog Views
Databricks Data Classification will soon extend its scanning capabilities to include Unity Catalog views, in addition to existing support for tables. This enhancement allows columns within views to be classified for sensitive data, utilizing the same detection engine currently employed for tables. The upcoming feature aims to provide more comprehensive data governance and discovery for sensitive information across a wider range of data assets within Unity Catalog.
