Databricks Apps Telemetry Reaches General Availability
Databricks Apps telemetry is now generally available, enabling collection of traces, logs, and metrics for Databricks applications. This functionality persists telemetry data to Unity Catalog tables using the OpenTelemetry protocol. After activation, the system automatically captures logs and usage events, with options for custom instrumentation via the OpenTelemetry SDK. This provides enhanced observability for Databricks app developers.
