Databricks enhances Genie Agents with chat sharing, visualization downloads, and bug fixes

Databricks has updated its Genie Agents, introducing generally available chat sharing for individual conversations, which improves collaboration. Additionally, users in supported Private Link workspaces can now download visualization results through the Genie Conversation API, currently in Beta. These enhancements allow for more interactive and secure data handling within Genie Agents. A bug that previously prevented the upload of CSV and Excel files to a Genie Agent from Genie One has also been resolved.

  • Resolved file upload issue in Genie One

    A bug that removed the option to upload CSV and Excel files to a Genie Agent from Genie One has been fixed. This restores the intended functionality for file ingestion.
