Databricks Extends Free Usage for Genie One and Genie Agents Through January 2027
Databricks has extended the free usage period for its Genie One and Genie Agents until January 31, 2027, prolonging the previous end date of July 31, 2026. This promotion suspends budget controls and applies exclusively to user consumption, with service principals continuing to be billed. Additionally, Genie Code users will still receive 150 free DBUs monthly, alongside a 25% promotional discount on usage above that allowance, also through January 31, 2027. This provides a longer window for development and experimentation with these AI capabilities.
