Databricks OpenSharing now generally available for foreign Iceberg tables

Databricks has announced the general availability of sharing and reading foreign Iceberg tables using OpenSharing. This capability enables providers to share Iceberg tables federated from external Iceberg catalogs, leveraging Lakehouse Federation. Recipients can then access this shared data using their own external Iceberg clients. This enhances data interoperability and simplifies data sharing across different environments.
