Databricks Unity Catalog ABAC Policies Now Cover Unity Gateway Resources (Beta)
Databricks Unity Catalog's Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) GRANT policies have been extended to support resource types governed by Unity Gateway. This enhancement allows users to dynamically grant privileges to gateway resources, such as model services, by matching governed tags instead of managing individual grants. This streamlines access control for gateway resources, providing a more scalable and efficient approach. The new capabilities for Unity Gateway resource types are currently available in Beta.
