Databricks Unity Gateway Reaches General Availability for Enterprise AI Governance
Databricks has announced the general availability of Unity Gateway, its comprehensive governance solution for enterprise AI within Unity Catalog. This solution enables organizations to control which AI services teams utilize, route and manage AI traffic across multiple providers, and govern multi-cloud private (MCP) servers to manage access and costs. It also provides unified monitoring for usage, cost, access, and lineage. While core features are generally available, some capabilities, including service policies and agent services, remain in beta.

- Unity Gateway General Availability for Enterprise AI Governance
Unity Gateway, now generally available as part of Unity Catalog, provides a governance solution for enterprise AI. It allows organizations to control AI service usage, manage traffic across providers, govern multi-cloud private servers for cost and access control, and monitor usage, cost, access, and lineage. Certain capabilities, such as service policies and agent services, are still in Beta.
