Databricks Unity Gateway API and Developer Tools Now Generally Available
Databricks has announced the general availability of its Unity Gateway API for managing model services, model provider services, and MCP services. This API offers comprehensive CRUD support and is integrated with Databricks developer tools, including the Terraform provider, CLI, and various SDKs. Developers can now leverage these tools for full lifecycle management of their model deployments. Additionally, Declarative Automation Bundles support, available via the Databricks CLI, has entered public Beta.

- Unity Gateway API for Model Services Generally Available
The Unity Gateway API now provides general availability for managing model services, model provider services, and MCP services with full create, read, update, list, and delete support. This functionality is integrated into Databricks developer tools, including the Terraform provider (v1.132.0+), CLI (v1.17.0+), and Python SDK (0.136.0+), among others.
