Azure AKS: Application Routing with Gateway API is now Generally Available
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) has made Application Routing with Gateway API generally available, bringing the Kubernetes Gateway API to ingress management. This update allows technical practitioners to adopt a standardized routing model and maintain a lightweight footprint without requiring a service mesh. Existing ingress-nginx-based Application Routing will remain supported until November, with an open-source ingress2gateway tool provided for gradual migration.
