EC2 Dedicated Hosts Add AMD SEV-SNP Support
Amazon EC2 now supports AMD SEV-SNP on Dedicated Hosts, allowing confidential computing workloads on dedicated physical servers. This provides confidential computing benefits alongside Dedicated Host features like placement control and host affinity. The feature is available in all AWS commercial regions with AMD instances.

Amazon EC2 Dedicated Hosts now support AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualization-Secure Nested Paging (SEV-SNP), enabling confidential computing workloads on dedicated physical servers. This allows customers to control instance placement and maintain host affinity for their secure environments.

- Availability of Dedicated Host SEV-SNP
Dedicated Host SEV-SNP is now available in all AWS commercial Regions that support AMD instances. Customers can allocate a Dedicated Host with SEV-SNP enabled and launch compatible instances on it.
