Administrators can now control Copilot plugins and their marketplaces within JetBrains IDEs, enabling them to enforce required plugins, approve additional plugin sources, and restrict installations to approved marketplaces.
- Centralized MCP Server Access Control
Administrators can use allowlists and denylists to centrally manage which MCP servers developers can connect to from GitHub Copilot for JetBrains, preventing connections to unauthorized servers.
- Managed OpenTelemetry Configuration
Centralized configuration for OpenTelemetry is now available, allowing administrators to define collector endpoints, protocols, service names, resource attributes, and content-capture policies, ensuring consistent telemetry routing.
- Control Copilot Agent Permission Modes
Administrators can set a new permission to prevent the Copilot agent in JetBrains from utilizing Bypass Approvals or Autopilot functionalities, enhancing organizational control over AI assistance.
